I am a math teacher. I hate turning my students' backs to write on the blackboard, plus it's so troublesome to erase, constantly washing erasers and cleaning the blackboard, and of course there are always some students who don't see know what you write. on the board because you're in the way! This solved all my problems. Resolution is excellent and for small images/text you can place the camera about 3 inches away and it will still focus. The base is heavy enough that it won't tip over all the time, but light enough that I can move it between my clunky teacher's desk and my small table on casters that I sit at while teaching. It took me about a month to fiddle around and figure out how to turn the picture upside down :) Of course, my students also love it when I broadcast their picture on TV. Excellent and inexpensive document camera. If you're a teacher, you need it!
