I installed my third Aquabliss shower filter. ALL of them are either leaking or in this case sprayed the wall with bath water. 1. 2. I disassembled the filter, checked the O-ring for defects. I then wiped the gasket area and then applied pool pump o-ring lube to the o-ring and pulled the filter parts together. After I completed that task and reinstalled the filters, there were no more leaks on either. Based on my previous experience with these shower filters, I had to disassemble this filter to inspect and lubricate the o-ring prior to installation. But I felt I didn't need it since I bought a more expensive filter. The filter is unused but NEW. I don't understand why the company doesn't lubricate the O-ring. As a do-it-yourselfer and plumber, I see this more and more often. In my opinion, a small step in production makes installation easier for the customer. I sent an email to the company's support team. Now I'm waiting to see how long it takes before I can use this filter. I would like to point out that users of the product LOVE them. You just need to find the ones that don't leak during installation. So I bought a more expensive filter.
