I used this fiber optic kit to light up a diorama model. My advice for this type of application: plan your wiring ahead of time because even if the wires are bent it gets tricky in a small space, drill 1/32" holes, feed the wire through then use a Lighter to melt and fan the wire a bit. end, then tighten and glue the back. I've tried several glues. DO NOT USE CA ADHESIVE. This will make the plastic brittle and they will break. I ended up using Titebond glue since I've been gluing it to chipboard and basswood. Let the glue dry for 24 hours. I then routed the wires through my model in groups, taped in sections. Finally put them back in the lightbox. I used a utility knife heated with a lighter to trim the ends nice and clean. The effect looks amazing! I highly recommend this set.
