Review on Olympus FE 5020 Digital Dark Grey by Centerfold Montague

I received an Olympus fe360 (gift) a little less than 2 years ago before it was hit by the beach sand and broke despite reviews. Camera. I chose another Olympus because I already had the chip, charger and battery from the first one. So I switched to this new one, Olympus fe5020, and got the whole kit for about $100 (including USB connector, charger and battery). I know some people (in the reviews) didn't like the lag when clicking the image button, but that was a minor detail. I love this camera and it doesn't look much different than my previous one except that it's 12 megapixels instead of 8 megapixels so the images come out pretty sharp. It has a quick edit button, a video option and is good for quick shots on the go. The menu options are clear and fairly basic, but with any gear it's worth playing around with the settings and also checking out the setup CD to get to know your camera better. Now, as an artist, I photograph some of my work. However, I make sure that the lighting is good because the camera settings are better for automatic shots. But if you have basic photo editing capabilities on your home printer then uploading photos is fine and the included instructional CD will come in handy too. All in all a good basic camera that does a lot for little money. Easy to wear, thin and looks beautiful.
