Olympus FE 5020 Digital Dark Grey Review

First of all I have to say that I am a complete novice to photography and have been looking for a camera that takes decent pictures, is inexpensive and is small enough to put in my pocket. This camera fits the bill and is great. It's compact, takes great pictures, and costs less than $100. There are many features of this camera that I haven't used yet. So as you get more experience with the camera, you might like it even more.

Great camera, simple and easy to use. Great photos with lots of detail, since 12 MP. Lightweight, easy to carry and fits comfortably in your pocket or small purse. I love the sleek look and style. The buttons are easy to use. The only slight exception to this camera is that the lenses expand if you just want to "view" photos that were taken when you turn it on. A little annoying. All in all, the Olympus Fe-5020 is a pretty decent camera at this price point and works well for my needs.

This camera was poorly designed. It felt like a piece of plastic in my hands. The battery has not been charged for more than 5 seconds. I bought this camera for my friend's birthday in June 2011, in general we are very happy with it. Image quality is good in low light and very bright shots, also does well with the motion shots we captured (mostly tube time), good shots in the dark. I love the Olympus FE-5020 so much. It produces very acceptable images for this price range. Olympus is a brand you can rely on.
