Review on 🧴 SPF Double-Duty Face Moisturizer by Jack Black by Natalie Gregory

Great lotion. Damn pump.

The name speaks for itself - an excellent lotion, but a miserable pump on the packaging. This is my third purchase of this item and the only major issue I had was with the pumping system - it's just awkward and poorly designed. One pump isn't enough, so I have to pump 8, 9, 10 or more to get the right amount (about a teaspoon). And the power of the pump is often not enough to prevent dripping onto the bottle wall. I suggest buying an empty pump bottle and pouring out the contents. Or throw away the pump, find the cap and just pour it out instead. Then another problem I had is when you are about 2/3 empty the pump stops working and you have to open the bottle and shake out the contents. You would think that such a high quality and expensive product would have a better shipping system. Yet despite these technical design flaws, the lotion itself is simply stunning. This is by far the best body lotion I have ever used. This is the perfect combination of a skin moisturizer and a broad spectrum sunscreen. One of its best features is that it is very lightweight and non-greasy. I even used it in my hair as a kind of styling gel. In addition, the aroma is subtle and unobtrusive. Plus, SPF 20 is perfect even for the California sun, blocking 95% of harmful UV rays. I used it for a four hour round of golf on a sunny day and it protected me completely (admittedly I used a cart and wore a hat, but still it was all the sunscreen I needed to keep from stinging my face, arms and eyes to get legs). Even when it's not sunny, I continue to use it every day as an all-purpose skin lotion - that is, as soon as I can get it out of the bottle.
