Kurt Adler 10 Inch Skellington Nutcracker Review

I was unable to use this item as intended as it arrived defective. Poor quality or delivery, not sure what. It's a shame as it was supposed to be a gift.

Nice idea but poorly made. I was able to make a replacement because the original arrived like it was old and some areas were sticky and uneven, but I found the replacement had the same issue except that it was uneven and wobbled back and forth. I come back without a second replacement.

Didn't know I was buying used. I thought it was new. This nutcracker was previously broken and then glued back together. (See bag photo.) This should have been clear in the description. Luckily I can use my artistic skills to hide this crack, but that's the principle.

I find it amazing. Excellent detailing and favorite names on gifts. the beard came off a little - no big deal, just a little glue. The tails were torn off as if they had previously been glued together. For the price I paid I just stuck it back on as you don't really notice. I would give 5 stars if it weren't for these two issues. Overall very happy with it for such a great price.

I had a Christmas themed nightmare this year and they were perfect. I bought Sally from another store. But Jack's name tag was broken. It's easy to put back on so it's not that big a deal, but for the price it shouldn't have been. I definitely think it was overpriced because if you look closely it's not perfect and they are flimsy. I haven't tried cracking a nut with it, but I'm sure I couldn't if I tried. It would probably break. I only bought them because they were cute.

It's very cute, but it's broken into at least four pieces. You can imagine the disappointment of watching someone open it on Christmas morning and it falls out of the plastic with nothing but a single piece. At first I thought it was a joke because in the movie Jack can cut his head off, but when the bag falls and the body falls out you can imagine his heart skipping a beat. Luckily there is superglue. And if you want a more traditional open-mouth nutcracker, don't worry. Kind of disappointed.

collecting nutcrackers for my son. The first one we got had the badge on the front falling off, the base was scratched, something sticky spilled on it, it looks like second hand. I returned one to the other, there is a nameplate but it's all scratched, there's glue to apply to the base and it was very dirty. I have cleaned and stored it but I don't understand how the new ones look like this, why is it scratched and dirty? The figure itself is very cute, but the base leaves a lot to be desired…

Too bad I didn't take a picture before packing it. My son started collecting when he was a child. He liked the Nutcracker's music! I give him one every year and he's a fan of Jack's! Unless you buy the insanely expensive nutcrackers we made it with, you'll find that the painting might not be that great or the decal work might look like my dog did the work, but this one really surprised me. It is very nice. The paintwork is great. I think the price is a few dollars higher. But this is Jack…
