Review on Motorcycle Communication QSPORTPEAK Microphone Headphones by Jim Shirodkar

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The sound quality isn't the best, but it's okay.

Here's an honest in-depth review with good and bad. I bought these so my 5 year old and I could have a chat when we hit the dirt. He's still learning the moves, so I have to keep an eye on him and tell him when and where to do what. It made communication much easier. The range is actually quite good; We were able to chat from about 6 acres and still make small talk. Attaching to the helmet was easy. I've done this before with Babbler so it was the same. putting them together is a great pain. You need to pair 1 headset with your phone first, after pairing, turn off Bluetooth on your phone, THEN you can pair with another phone. And as far as I understand you can't connect your phone if you want to connect to another com. The sound quality just sucks. We turned up the volume and really struggled to hear each other. Mostly we had to repeat 2 or 3 times. However, I don't blame the headset entirely, as both of our helmets have a small piece that blocks the headphones. But it's pretty bad compared to the Talker. We had batteries fully charged and after 4 hours of continuous driving with them between short breaks they still had a charge left when we finished. There's no way of knowing how much battery is left, but that doesn't bother me too much. All in all, it's a good investment if you don't use it daily or in a noisy environment. To hear my son I usually had to hit the clutch and idle to hear him but then again that. May be user error as well as such a small voice I'm listening.

Pros
  • ★With DSP echo cancellation and noise reduction technology, crystal clear voice quality is guaranteed at high speed.
Cons
  • Not the best
