My son has broken so many headphones and Turtle Beach Recons was the last straw, I noticed the microphone was the only broken aspect so I found this replacement. No matter what I do, this kid will bend the mic in all directions, put it in his mouth, and no amount of correction will attract him. I've tried other headphones, be they wireless fixed mics, and these Recons are the only ones that still seem to work without a mic. So this product can keep these headphones going and instead of paying another $30 for a new headset I can just replace the mic for a fraction of the price. The only thing I noticed is using it with a PS4 controller. that feedback occurs when loading the controller. As soon as I take out the charger, the feedback disappears.
