I tried this product without reading any instructions or anything just to see how easy it is to understand and use , and I'm a fan. If you're rough you can still remove the very thin top layer of the nail, but for the most part I've had no trouble with it. It took a bit of work to remove the polish and it doesn't fit in the corners where my nail meets my skin but other than that it's still a great product. I keep it on my desk because I'm bad at picking up nail polish and it helps scrape off nail polish residue that I don't pick off myself. I haven't injured myself yet, so not sharp enough to worry about injuries.
