Upon opening, it was attacked by a horrible odor reminiscent of the smell of rotting seafood. I thought maybe it just needs airing, or maybe it's just a by-product of the manufacturing process. When that didn't fix the problem, I tried hand washing it with soap and water in the tub; somehow it made the situation worse. Then I tried washing it in the washing machine. The smell stays. I see there are a lot of positive reviews for this product and maybe it's just a coincidence, but it's a disgusting coincidence. I will try to return.
