I just bought this razor to add to my safety razor collection and I have to say I have it! It was interesting to try the tilt and this half tilt hit the mark. I started with my standard Gillette Platinum blade to keep things straight and used Go-To Proraso Green shaving soap. Here's what I love about this razor: It's possibly the best DE razor I've found and I own some very expensive DE razors. The fit and finish are very good for the price. Razor Feedback/Noise is the loudest razor I own. I really like this aspect as you can hear if you are at the right angle of the blade or not. The handle length is also good. It's longer but with this razor it's well balanced for good control and gives you a quick shave if you have DE experience. The parts fit together perfectly and the blade stays securely in the lid without dangling. The only thing I would change is the edges of the blade protruding from the sides of the cap to eliminate this. A few key points when using this razor. Use very light pressure. Let the weight of this razor do all the work for you. Less pressure is better with this guy! Walk slowly as she will bite you if you are not careful. Use it properly and you'll be rewarded with a nice shave at a very affordable price. I'll keep experimenting and using the included Parker blades and trying others including the always sharp springs! Bend over!
