This filter looks basically the same as another brand of filter we've bought before. The information on the label of this filter is very similar, if not identical, to the information on the label of another brand of filter. As expected, the branding on the label of this filter and the design of the label differed from the previously purchased model of filter. Since the filters from the two different brands looked very similar, we expected their installation to be the same. Another brand requires a simple twist of the filter to secure it. The filter of this brand did not twist. We just put him in his place. Installing both brands of filters was easy, just different. Water seems to taste the same as when using a different brand of filter; tastes like filtered water. I prefer the taste of spring water as I have been drinking it for many years. My husband doesn't mind the taste of filtered water. Overall I would buy this filter again as it offers a good cost saving.
