Honestly, the joystick that comes with the switch is not designed for manual mode at all. It just doesn't offer enough grip and comfort for long gaming sessions. My fingers often go numb after 30 minutes of gaming. While I understand why Nintendo designed it that way, I really wish we could buy something that made it easier to hold in our hands. This Kinvoca Joycon is exactly what I was looking for. The large profile of this set of joycons really provides the secure fit I was looking for and it completely changed the handset gaming experience. Not to mention that the price of this upgrade is a fraction of the official joycon. I would recommend this to anyone who finds the original joystick too small and wants to go bigger.
