I'm trying to extend USB audio from a Behringer Wing console. The remote device is powered on and connected to the audio console. And a local device connected to a MacBook running Logic Pro. We see the wing console interfaces filling up. But the sound is not acceptable. The sound is delayed. It sounds like what you're seeing here is a remote device passing power through the cable. Like digital morse code. I bought a device that supports up to 165 feet. We have manually rebuilt our CAT6 several times with 115 feet of travel. And then I bought a factory, 125 foot, shielded CAT6. And we still have the same problem. Is this a known problem? Do we have to return/replace this device? Do I need power on both ends of this USB extender? We received only one power cord. Do we need to try a device that supports 300 feet? Many Thanks.
