This toaster is good in terms of functionality and design. The cable is neatly tucked away at the bottom. Buttons are easy to press. Nice to see the countdown timer. Everything is fine EXCEPT the toaster does not toast well. The attached image shows three slices of toast. The darker pieces were roasted on level 2 first. The lighter pieces were roasted second on level 1. Level 2 pieces are very dark and very hard. With our old toaster they would have been at level 5 (out of 6). There is no intermediate. And as a toaster it doesn't do a very good job (hence the 3 stars). If you buy another model, we will return this device.
