I bought two Solvit booster seats for my two 12lb Maltese six years ago. The seats were fantastic. The dimensions were perfect at 18 x 14 x 10 inches. The structure was solid and provided a very safe environment for our dogs. The workmanship was attractive and durable. The body has been constructed from attractive faux leather and a soft and comfortable half inch faux Sherpa. After six years of reliable service, one of the seats was damaged and had to be replaced. With full confidence in the product, I ordered a replacement for Solvit. This replacement is back. The dimensions given are 16 x 13 x 8 inches. NOT SO. Actual dimensions are 15.5 x 12.5 x 8 inches. Yes, 8 inches deep and it's totally unsafe! Manufacturing has also changed completely. Cheap lightweight fabric on the outside with a 1/16" so-called fleece liner that slides in while you drive. There's also no attachment to make it easy to attach the booster over the car's headrest. I'm disappointed with that product and the apparent lack of quality control by Solvit, shame on you!
