Does not support Android 4.4 Kitkat
I bought this tablet to use as a remote control for a Dash robot that requires Android 4.4 (Kitkat) on a tablet. Based on the answers to the questions in the product description, I assumed that the built-in Android 4.2 operating system could be updated. Unfortunately, after spending many hours trying different ways including calling Samsung technical support, there is no legal way to update the OS on this device to the latest 4.4 version. This limitation makes the latest specialized software applications incompatible. The second star is for the surprisingly painless process of Revane's return.
