Compact and perfect for a bedside humidifier. I've had normal sized ohms for years. They always made a mess and never fit on the bedside table. I ordered it in a hurry because the dry heat has made my asthma worse. I didn't expect something so small. Honestly, it's perfect and gets the job done. I ordered another one for our daughter's room. Like a solid piece. In any case, these things never last more than a few years.
