I have issues with the small charging ports, I really don't like them because they can be damaged if the phone is knocked off the stand while charging. With this docking station you can adjust the height of the fork to the case. My case is thin but looks like it would easily fit in a thicker case like the OtterBox. The dock has weight (not much, but enough) and a non-slip bottom to keep it in place. I just want to mount my phone on it and leave it in place. Another plus is that the phone stands upright so you can see notifications or the caller just by looking at it. 👍👍
