I bought this for my desk so my phone doesn't take up extra space. I particularly liked the fact that I can adjust the height to fit my phone's case. The USB cable fits my phone snugly, seems too tight. After 10 months of docking and undocking my phone, this is the result. Maybe it would have taken longer all the time if I'd been a little more diligent in pulling the phone straight up and being a little more careful.

I have issues with the small charging ports, I really don't like them because they can be damaged if the phone is knocked off the stand while charging. With this docking station you can adjust the height of the fork to the case. My case is thin but looks like it would easily fit in a thicker case like the OtterBox. DO NOT FAST LOAD GOOGLE PIXEL XL! The two main problems with this dock are 1.) It doesn't offer fast charging as stated in the questions (see pictures) and 2.) It doesn't make sense that the end of the charger is a USB-A connector. Yes, you must provide your own power adapter.
