I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!
In W7x64, the soft AP operated on its own. although not right away, but rather after the firewall has been activated. I used speedtest to determine the speed as a client while connected to the Dir-300 at a distance of roughly 10 meters. When using the "old" D-Link DWL-G520 with a PCI interface, net is 1.5β2 times lower. Initially, I used a dongle to transfer WiFi from an office PC to a smartphone; however, the device is more than capable of doing this work. Its 290 dollar price is entirely justified.

- The EAC sticker on the USB port progressively peels off when the device is attached, and the glue that is left behind starts to collect dust. I had to scrape the sticker off and clean the glue with alcohol.
