Pleasantly surprised. The fabric is pleasantly soft, feels like soft leather, but it's not. Assembly was quick and easy. Bought 2 of these chairs for my RV and they fit perfectly. When ordered I was concerned that I would not be able to recline fully due to the tightness, but I can recline fully. I read all the reviews before purchasing and noticed that some say the chairs don't recline very far and I have to disagree. They tilt almost to a horizontal position. Now if you're expecting a plush chair with a thick cushion, you'll probably be disappointed, but you're not paying for a lazy boy's chair. For the price, this chair is great. Some other campers at our campsite saw my sun loungers and sat on them and now they want to replace the uncomfortable camper furniture there too. Hopefully they stand the test of time
