It's cold now and no flies at this time of year but a few fruit flies died within an hour of first use. Works 24 hours a day for 3 weeks. No issues found yet. Use indoors only. Pleasant blue light, similar to ultraviolet. I find it works best in the dark. No smell, no noise. However, cleaning is not easy. It is difficult to combine the tray to clean. You can use the coin to pull out the tray. The tray is on the back. Make sure you unplug it before cleaning. Many Thanks.
