Relatively quiet and capable of quickly shredding a lot of paper. When shredding certain types of paper, problems were encountered when long strips were hanging from the blades and a sensor was triggered indicating that the basket was full, which in fact it was not. Another serious problem arose when attempting to destroy credit cards. The cards were not cut, instead the cuts were long and straight and the information on the cut pieces is very legible. Also, paper jams were very difficult to clear as it was impossible to reverse the blades when the red light was on to remove the jammed paper.
