I have a '09 Subaru Outback and I bought one of these for the passenger side as I have an electronic brake shifter on the driver's side which I thought would get in the way. I bought this mainly for the cup holder because I only have two. The cup holder of this item is SMALL. It doesn't fit in my 20oz Hydroflask travel mug. In fact, I dare say that the only thing that will suffice is maybe a 12-ounce bottle of water or a small travel container of hand sanitizer. Also, the narrow part that actually slides between the seat and console isn't wide or long enough to hold it securely in place. shaky. If a water bottle would fit in the cup holder, it would be too heavy and could tip over. It was loose enough that if I hit the brakes it would be on the floor. If you only want this place for your wallet and phone, this will probably work. If you're buying it for a long solo trip and want to stash your drink and fries, it's not.
