I tried the Ridge Wallet and found that it took a lot of fiddling to get the card I wanted, taking all the money out and putting it back together each time. reinserted. Ridge wasn't skinny either. I keep my FOB with a key in my wallet and the key was smashed into the Ridge wallet. This serman is designed for 7 cards with no doubling and one of those 7 is behind a transparent ID window. It's not so easy to pull this card out of the transparent slot. So I put my BJ card (e.g. Sam's Club or Costco) in this slot so it can be scanned by my wallet. Recently, many places require you to take the license out of your wallet if you want to see it, so the window for that is useless for the license. So I put my license in a regular slot (inside). I've doubled a card for a total of 8 and it's not too difficult. Now my wife says I need to "fix" my wallet, she has it like an anchor. She never liked Ridge, but she really liked it. I didn't know that the money clip could be clicked "Open". It seems too much. The clip also has a very large kink at the end which can be smaller to make the wallet thinner. This end of the clip (the whale's tail) lands on the thickest part of the wallet (the top of the credit card slots), making the wallet unnecessarily thick. Especially where the clip 'opens up', the clip can be straight and still work and be less of an in the way when folded. Many other wallets have a thumb hole in the leather that tears. That's why I picked this wallet out of many doubles because they didn't make it here. I scoured Revain for a long time to find the right one. It fits better in my pocket than a ribbed wallet (small brick). Despite my nitpicking, I couldn't give it less than 5 stars, especially at 25% of the Ridge wallet's value.
