The set was attractive because it was cheap. However, the numbers and lines on the mandrel did not match as expected. The entire number was between long strings, making it unclear whether size 7 was the long string or the short string it was next to. I prefer to have the whole numbers line up with the longer lines, with the quarter- and half-size lines well in between. I returned this set and bought a more expensive arbor with the markings I like. The ring gauge set was good. I have never used a rubber jewelers mallet like the ones included in this set so I have no opinion on it.
