This is a nice thick, soft fabric with good stitch detail. Back zip, high collar, no slit. I'm 5ft 3 inches tall and it's just above my knee. I usually wear a large / 12. I have it in a size 12 and I would say it fits true to size. However, he doesn't flatter me very much. He is sitting on the figure. It doesn't stretch, but it hugs me. As for my stomach, it's not the most attractive thing about me. I've worn it with a camouflage cardigan, but I'm not comfortable wearing it alone. This is a beautiful dress and would be great for someone who is comfortable in this fit. If that person is you, this will also look super cute with button down bottoms and tights for the cooler months. I won't (stomach area) but you should.
