After I received the item and installed it on my bike, the gas brake would not engage. I thought it was because the handlebars are small but I went to someone at home wanting to try and fix this by putting a piece of metal in the grip area of the grip and found the broken metal washer as it is the bike . I took out the brake cable. Maybe one day I'll connect the brake system to the bike, but I don't have it to install. It was easy. It seems to be working better than the broken item I don't know what it could be, they seem to be the same
