I bought two of these receivers. The first failed (no sound) after falling from less than 3 feet onto the carpet (but the display worked fine). While the first receiver was being repaired at Audio Galaxy, I ordered a second receiver (for an upcoming gig). In the meantime I have received my first overhauled receiver and now have two (functional) receivers. :-) The sound quality is pretty good and certainly better than using floor monitors for a gig (it just took some getting used to). Pros: Audio Galaxy will repair any damaged receiver (or transmitter) as long as it's under warranty and the sound is pretty good for this inexpensive receiver. Cons: I really doubt the quality of the receiver (which is made in China). The other members of the band (5 in total) use the same receiver and 3 of us have sent the receiver in for repairs in the last 3 years. The other two band members had display issues (no display but sound worked fine). I would recommend this receiver (and transmitter) for bands on a budget (new bands, garage bands or bands on a budget). I would not recommend this for working with large capital groups. All in all it's a decent receiver, but if left carelessly it can get you into trouble.
