is it plastic Best Shower Head

I was looking for a manual shower head for our second bathroom in the house. We have it in our basement, we don't use it much but if we have a backup it's nice to have. Also, I'm a bit taller, so when the hand shower is in the holder, it raises the shower head a couple of inches. I was a little surprised when I opened it up and pulled out the shower head. Feels like a plastic spatula, just a little thicker. The hose is long enough and listed as rustproof, but feels too light and the top is clearly plastic. In fairness, the description mentions acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, but there is hope that this is one of the materials. But it works. It was very easy to install. Teflon tape is only needed where the first part is attached to the wall, the rest is simply screwed in by hand, the washers hold water. It goes through different patterns if you're looking for something different from the usual. shower spray. It says it somehow increases water pressure (air boost technology). To be honest we have great water pressure and I didn't notice it getting stronger with this showerhead. Maybe it makes a difference in an area with lower water pressure? This will work, this is an occasional shower in our basement. I don't think I would use it in a guest bathroom, it just feels cheap. I hope that my thoughts on plastic plumbing will be proven wrong and that this will continue for many years to come. Nothing wrong with that, I was just expecting Metal.
