**Love the look of the wider spacing on this foot.***This is the ONLY foot I wanted to use for all my basics Sew. THIS NEW presser foot has a wider gap with MUCH better visibility so you can see your sewing just before the needle drops for a stitch. This makes ultra-precise sewing possible for me, which other sewing feet cannot. (Other presser feet have a tiny narrow gap or notch so you can't see the fabric, tears, edges, hem, etc.) My own OLD presser foot that came with my Janome is hard in the area just in front of the needle ( the area just before the needle is lowered), making it difficult to sew new stitches with existing stitches, tears, edges, embellishments, etc.
