Good pair of bluetooth headphones for the home at price

I got a pair of Navy for $80 in early October and have been very pleased so far (rude they've upped the price now). I think the sound quality is pretty good for the price and the headphones are very comfortable. Great battery life. I like them as a quieter alternative to my AirPods Pro which fit in my ears and can give me a headache/earache after wearing them for a while. The controls, located on the lower rear of the earcups, take a bit of getting used to, but now that I've gotten used to them I haven't had too many problems. They tend to automatically pair with both my laptop and phone when I put them in pairing mode, which can make listening to things like Spotify and Netflix on my phone a bit finicky, especially when I have those apps on mine laptop open (disabling the bluetooth headphone connection on my laptop solves this problem). Contrary to many people's reviews, it was very easy to pair with my 5 year old MacBook Pro. Pairing with my iPhone 8 was a little more annoying, but after a try or two it worked and there have been no more problems since. I didn't have much trouble making calls, although one person told me they could hear themselves through my mic. I can hear the people on the other end well and find them comfortable for long conversations. I think they are more suitable for home/office use as they tend to slip. The lack of clamping action - which makes them comfortable - also means I probably won't be using them for commuting (as I will be doing again soon) or for outdoor exercise. There's no ANC to speak of, so they don't isolate outside noise to any great extent, but the over-ear design does some of the work. All in all, thumbs up for life! Especially when you can get them at a lower price.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
