Excellent fan, excellent quality, conforms to the description.

I have purchased Hykolity 52" minimalist ceiling fans with and without lights. I installed the lighted model in the master bedroom replacing a 30 year old 52" quad fan. easy install (ugly version) Components are well made and fan works as described: absolutely silent, no wobble, great balance, moves air so well I set it to lowest speed, remote works fine, blades look like a walnut, steam-bent and visually stunning, and the LED light can be very bright. Installation is easy, but please note that the quality of the instructions depends on the step you are in. Wires, drywall, plaster, etc. 2 harnesses to bullets These are bulky and you'll have to fiddle around a bit to avoid jamming the receiver. A more detailed description would not hurt. Blade installation seems easy but requires two people; one for positioning the blade, holding the bottom ring and one for adjusting the screws - no fat fingers please. TIP: Use a long thin round screwdriver to insert the blade into the bottom screw hole while aligning the top hole. A magnetic screwdriver will help here. FYI: Maximum ceiling tilt is 15 degrees due to the receiver limiting bottom stem tilt, but I doubt that's possible. I intend to purchase a 45 degree kit from stock for the unlit model. I had questions which I sent to the Hykality contact listed in the manual and received a response almost immediately (over the weekend!) which was very helpful and friendly. By the way, I connected the fan to the wall switch and was able to use the "return to previous settings" function of the receiver. last thought; When turning on the fan there is a few seconds delay, if nothing happens, then the blade moves slightly as if deciding which way to turn, then a pop, and it's off and working! I've been assured this is normal, but it should be in the instructions. Also the manual page for the remote functions only covers the first 4 buttons.
