Review on Superteam Wheelset Clincher Carbon Finish by Michael Hellewell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very smooth ride. suitable for cycling

rims are quite good. As soon as I received them, I put them on and rode a century. It runs very smoothly there, and there are no kinks in fast corners. Crossing a curb at 20mph at 35mph and not feeling a corner is amazing for the price. And the hubs from novatec are good too, they're not from DT Swiss. But there it is very good for a set of mid-range discs. Staying true to the bumpy road, they managed a 1600-watt sprint around town at the stop light. It's actually better than some of my other three spoke rims. The valve stem extension that came with the washers is junk. There are corresponding extensions with a thread. So make sure you buy a set of valve stem extensions of at least 40-50mm. Gray sells a very good set up to 80mm. And to reduce the vibration of the valve. Simply take some tape and wrap it 1 turn around the valve stem making sure the tape is halfway out of the rim. After that you don't hear it anymore. If you want to grab attention, gain a few seconds, and use fewer watts, these are budget drives.

Pros
  • cassette body: suitable for Shiman0 8/9/10/11 gears
Cons
  • very expensive
