These are really great sheets, I love the jet black blue color but for the price they are just not what I expected. They are very high quality and feel nice, but I can get a good one at Ross for $30. I ordered a $94 queen set and a $27 queen set and they just don't fit that (higher) dollar amount. I ordered two sizes and was going to return both but accidentally forgot the other one so now I have a set (the King which was a lot cheaper so I was less worried about the return and forgot about it completely) and they check look and feel good after washing, yet have a pleasant sheen and retain their color. The price varies a lot by size so I'd say they're worth it if they're under $40 otherwise I'd probably go for something less flimsy because they definitely don't look like 1000 thread count. For example, I have Kirkland 540-thread-count satin cotton sheets and they are superior in every way: softness, quality, sheer luxury. My Kirkland sheets are a lot thicker than these, but somehow softer than these. This Mayfair bedding really does NOT feel like you paid $100 for it. More like a quality 300/400 thread count to me. And I've bought LOTS of sheets and only have 100% cotton and I'm also a very picky and cautious shopper (I compare fifty types to find the perfect ones because the perfect ones last forever and feel like heaven! ). In summary, if they're less than $30/40 a set, I'd say go for them :)
