Review on πŸŽ’ Large Backpack Rain Cover by Mountainsmith by Joseph Campos

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I took raincoats with me on a trip to Thailand. Even in rain showers.

I took raincoats with me on a trip to Thailand. Even in the rain, it keeps the backpack dry. Be careful when putting on and taking off the cover as small puddles can form at the bottom edge of the cover, which can get the bottom of the pack wet. This can only happen in heavy torrential rain because the rain gets wet on the backpack straps or if the cover does not close the backpack properly. The cover also prevents people from opening the pockets while carrying the backpack in crowded urban areas. Don't let cover discourage pickpockets in urban areas, but cover can help deter thieves from accessing your backpack. I use covers for my backpack when I get caught in the rain while riding my motorcycle at home.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Big and bulky
