Sperry Top-Sider Lanyard CB Boat Shoe for Toddlers and Little Kids Review

I had to go back. I have used this Sperry model in my family for many years. As is usual with this brand, this pair was well built, well packaged and immaculate throughout. But the landing was strange. Too wide and high, gross contact with knuckles rather than sitting directly underneath is a warning of blistering. Requested a refund and purchased a different Sperry model.

They don't fit, they appear to be smaller and there isn't much room to comfortably fit the shoes to a toddler. You will need a larger hole under the velcro to fit a child's foot. But material and quality are very good.

Very happy with my purchase because I tried to find my son's size but could not. I came here, found it immediately and the price was stolen, came two days later, fits perfectly!

This shoe fit my child but one day he came home from school with huge blisters on both corners where the sides of the shoes are crooked. We love Sperry so that was very disappointing.

Sophomore year I order these shoes for my daughter's school uniform. It is strong yet flexible and holds up well even after daily use. I would recommend as she is now in 4th grade and has been wearing this style since kindergarten.

Absolutely perfect. And a little bonus - velcro straps! Bought for my one year old son when he was a size 5 so I bought a 5.5 for a little slack and he is now 15 months old and they are still fine. They are not narrow, so great for children's feet.

Sperry always seems to go far. Bought for size &7Y but had to buy 6.5m due to width. There was 1 inch of room at the toes. The wearer has a narrow heel base, there was still a little play but had him do a knock test to make sure the shoe didn't come off. It's gone. I have to say the last. The pair I bought was disappointed with the toe coming off the sole which had never happened before. It was at the end of the school year. I have to keep an eye on her.

My son found them comfortable, but they didn't last a full school year. After about 6 months the toe cap started to detach from the sole. I thought the quality was high enough to last a year but it wasn't.

My son wears them with his school uniform and we have ordered several pairs over the years. They are always what we expect them to be - excellent quality shoes! They are a bit big. For reference, he wears a size 8 Nike tennis shoe, but this Sperry wears a size 7. He wears the same Nike socks with both.

Bought these for my teenager. They look great, but they're really big. I would recommend 1/2 size smaller than your child's running shoes.

My 6 year old loves these shoes! I bought them for a special occasion and he grimaced when I gave them to him (they weren't tennis shoes!) but then he wanted to wear them every day. I bought his normal size and they fit him perfectly.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to fit my toddler's foot in, they open at the top of the foot so you don't have to strain to squeeze his foot (like some other boots we've tried). ).

These shoes fit well. Very stylish. My husband has small feet and has trouble finding shoes in his size. Shoes come in half sizes, so that's a big plus.

Our son is never one to wear out his shoes quickly, but it was awful. The laces frayed within two weeks and within a month the sole was worn in places.

They seemed to fit and didn't cause any complaints, but the front lacing system is too far forward and the heel angle isn't enough to prevent heel slippage while walking. Maybe a different foot shape would work?

I originally ordered a 5.5 but it was too wide to lose and it slipped off. I ordered size 5 and it is perfect. This is part of my son's private school uniform.

The strap style has the support I wanted for our first grader. We have tried other styles of Sperry and since our August 2019 launch to February 2020 we have switched 3 pairs of Sperry! She's picky about shoes and finally we found the perfect style she can't break and they seem to have more support and arch for her. Buy this style in advance, every time I try on our size, everything is sold out!
