Don't usually waste your time writing reviews. We have just returned from a trip (7-8 hours one way) with two 2 year olds. We have two such players so we can use them to play the same movie or as separate devices so everyone can watch something different. You saved lives. They worked great. The volume was good without headphones, the remote was easy to use, the swiveling monitor was great, no jumps or playback issues even on dirt roads, the battery lasted at least 5.5 hours, the extra jack was perfect too. I highly recommend this block.
