My wife wanted these chaise lounges for watching the stars, with her and I side-by-side, without any arm rests separating us. These chairs come in a solid carboard box, with no padding except thin plastic bags and a single piece of cardboard between them. The only assembly required was to attach the head rests with a single Velcro closure. These fold out easily, and the back adjustment requires placing a metal bar in plastic bracket snaps (see manufacturer photo). I believe that this will be the product's weak point, and that the tabs will eventually break, rendering the product useless. Most chaise lounges employ metal holding brackets as the amount of force applied to these is continuous and relatively large when people are using the chair. These hopefully will last a couple of years. They fold up relatively compactly, and can be hung on the wall for storage.In use, they are exceptionally comfortable, and we used them for a half an hour the first time, watching the stars, with the middle reclining position. The lower reclining position is too low to be of any use for use, but YMMV.
