I used it again today and bought it in 2001. The buttons wear out a bit, but I can still receive the stations. I use it when we travel to the US. One day we were driving from Seattle to Tampa, and as we drove through South Dakota, I heard squeaking and talking coming from the glove box. When my wife checked, the radio accidentally went on standby and it warned us that there was a tornado in the area. He warned us that he had landed in a certain precinct and just as he said we passed a sign telling us we were in that precinct. It also alerts you when the weather approaches freezing. I'm sure the newer version is lighter and easier to find channels, but mine has been working for 10 years now. Can't beat it!
