Review on Steering Wheel Decorative Chrome Cover by Scott Tompkins

As someone who is always looking for customizable things to add to their car, I'm always on the lookout for carbon fiber trim. When I stumbled upon it I thought it was relatively cheap (about $13 was my purchase price) and it looked pretty stylish in the photos. As many of you know, corporate promotional images can always look very different than they would in real life. Luckily these carbon overlays looked exactly as advertised! As you can see from the photos I provided, they make your original steering wheel look much more stylish and ready to use. At first I was concerned if this would cause a raised lip around the fairing, but it fits very well and feels like it was originally part of the steering wheel. The materials are quite high quality, of course this is not real carbon fiber but rather durable plastic which has not faded on me in several months in the sun. If you have OCD you may only notice that in the third picture there is a gap between the pad and the base of the handlebars. It's not visible when you're driving, but you'll notice it if you look over the top of the steering wheel. All in all a great purchase!
