I have chronic pain in my legs. The heat here really makes my cold-blooded, aching feet feel a whole lot better. It's addictive so be careful, you may only want to get a massage a few times a day. or put it under your desk on hard or cold days at work. When I had DVT many years ago I got one and it was the only thing that really helped get rid of the pain in my legs. I would also use it daily and it works on all the knotty spots. I'm not sure why anyone would want to run it without heat because I always want the heat to penetrate and give a deeper massage. really break some of the painful knots. When you finally stop - and you don't want to - your feet will feel light and amazingly refreshed. If you have chronic foot pain, this will become your new best friend. Years and out of laziness, because I only wanted warmth, I gave it away and got myself a heating pad. My DVT was over at this point and I didn't think I needed it. Now I don't know how I lived the last 4 years without him. Even if you are ticklish, this can be an uncomfortable experience for you. I love how you can really move on it to get to the toes, ball of the foot, outside, heel, inside and top of the foot.
