Review on Single Function Pressure Balance Temperature Cartridge 10664 by Ken Arellano

bought at the end of December 2020 and today April 18 I'm replacing it for the second time. Only this time I'm replacing it with a Delta OEM model. Like most of you DIY enthusiasts, I always like to try a low-tech alternative to the expensive OEM original. This DANCO product is very difficult to install and four months later even more difficult to remove. Fits very tight. And I mean tight. Last month the valve knob started rotating 360 degrees and the temperature adjustment screw is not well described in the documentation. Also, there are no supporting video producers or others on YT that I could find. Get the OEM version, fits like a glove, excellent temperature adjustment hand wheel, effectively maintains water temperature. Like me, you probably won't, but I guarantee you'll be switching it over to the OEM version in six months.
