Review on Saris M2 Smart Indoor Electromagnetic Resistance Bike Trainer: Enhance Your Zwift Experience! by Flavio Iyer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I don't feel my legs when I'm with you but I love it!

After I moved from Colorado my poor road bike felt abandoned. I've seen CycleOps before, but finally decided to take a chance and buy one for myself. I was intrigued by the premise of using VR apps like Rouvy and Zwift to simulate indoor riding and I have to say it was definitely worth it. This thing can simulate both gentle hills and incredibly difficult climbs without breaking a sweat (but of course I will!). The trainer itself was very easy to assemble and feels very solid. I've ridden it about 1000 miles and have never felt unsafe or unstable while driving. Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity was flawless and the calibration process was quick and easy. To be fair, I don't blame Saris/CycleOps for this, but it affects the user experience. Things are getting better now because Rouvy released a native macOS app (I used an Android app before), but I still encountered some annoying bugs and sometimes the English localization leaves a lot to be desired. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to get or stay fit!
