This iPad Air Gen. 4 protective cases can be very good for children. It offers great protection and is easy to hold. I didn't test this by dropping the new iPad Air; However, it looks like it would provide excellent "insurance" against damage in this unfortunate situation. And I think most of us dropped our devices and winced when we saw the result. For a child's often clumsy, growing hands, this may be the best protective case for your investment. (I recommend getting a good quality screen protector. (That Liquid Retina screen deserves its own protection.) I really LOVE the dial (loop) on the back so I bought it. I used to have a case like this and the grip and easy angle adjustment just awesome HOWEVER (and this is HUGE) for an adult this case is too restrictive unfortunately I don't recommend it at all first and most problematic is that you CANNOT use the new fingerprint id on the top of the iPad to open the screen THIS IS A MAJOR LOSS This feature doesn't work with this case And it's HUGE Also I couldn't get to the volume up and volume down buttons which doesn't just adjust the volume , screenshots missing, shutdown is problematic etc. Case but I don't think they will work adequately This case was made before the iPad Air 4 released. The company might not have had a real pro channel to test? Dissatisfied. I want them to design a case with this stylus that will allow the user to enjoy the cool features of the new iPad Air 4.
