This product makes my OCD very happy. I installed bookshelf speakers on two tall bookshelves to the left and right of the TV. The cables could not be hidden as the bookshelves are completely open with metal corner frames and wooden shelves. This product hid all the cables, was easy to install and the tape REALLY seemed to stick to the metal frame of our bookshelves. one vertical run on the back of the other. On a bookshelf, I was able to fit a standard power cord and subwoofer cord in one run, and speaker cord and optical cord in another. It was tight, but I pushed her in with a little skill. The other bookshelf is just an aisle with a speaker wire. Our home theater in the living room now looks incredibly clean, straight out of a magazine.
