Vet Recommends Best Enzymatic Carpet Cleaner

Anti Icky Poo is the best known and most vet recommended enzymatic carpet cleaner you can turn to for any type of pet mess around the home. I should know that I am a longtime veterinarian and there is no other carpet cleaner or other enzyme based carpet cleaner that compares. I used Nature's Wonder a long time ago because it was cheaper, but once I used it there was no turning back. The most important thing is to use an enzymatic pet stain cleaner instead of a regular carpet cleaner like detergent (even the one that says it's for pet stains). A cleaning product such as a detergent will try to cover up the odor while silently spreading the dirt under the surface of the carpet and therefore will not solve anything in the long run. The enzymatic cleaner biodegrades the molecules that make up the odor and stain, leaving nothing to lure the pet to the same spot. Key point: You may not think the stain smells, but your dog or cat will be keenly aware of the lingering odors that mark urine, and the problem will remain until resolved. This helps get to the stains as quickly as possible before the discoloration gets worse (black lights can be a good tool), but this product can deal with just about anything, including stains and odors. They have a website with more information but the most important thing to know is to pinpoint the problem area and soak it down to the floorboards with Anti Icky Poo and leave until it dries. If you need to apply multiple times, do so as it's impossible to use too much. This is either the end or at this point once you get rid of the smell you can use the cleaner if the stain is still there. Mr Max makes one and I would suggest using the entire range. Your bottle lists the mess that helps with cleanup and even lists corpses (meaning people). This is a serious cleaner. You've never let me down and I've had my fair share of pets and accidents, especially training my newest rescue pup. Highly recommended!
