Shorts are great, comfortable and true to size. I used them for the first time and rode 30 miles. I haven't had to adjust often as I make triathlon shorts with a much thinner pad. As mentioned in other reviews, not only is the pillow a bit thicker (not bad), but it's also very large. You can see the difference between this lining and my pearl IZUMI (PI on the left, these shorts on the right). I personally don't understand the need for such a large cushion when the seat is so small. But the biggest complaint is THE lack of pockets, they are obviously meant for longer trips but without pockets it would be difficult to carry the necessary fuel for a hundred year trip in just my tank top. Also, I don't like storing things in a tank top because it gets heavy. The shorts are tight so the extra fuel doesn't strain the fit, but the lack of pockets means less fuel meaning I won't be using them for the rides of the century.
